Delegate, Automate, Outsource: Choosing the Best Path for Your Workload. (The Worksheet)
Here is an example of how not to delegate work:
- Make a list of tasks happening in your business
- Pick 30% of the tasks at random
- Tell somebody else to do them
Delegate somewhere, somehow
You completed an exercise last week to get comfortable with delegating.
Now, it is time to choose what gets delegated.
And automated.
And outsourced.
Delegate more, do less
Because those are your options when you decide to delegate.
You can delegate: hand work to your employees for them to take over.
You can automate: use software or technology to do the work for you, so it doesn’t require constant human intervention.
You can outsource: find a business that does that thing and have them do it for you, as one of their clients.
And your bonus option: you can stop doing it all together.
And Delegate now
Get the worksheet you filled in last week.
Remind yourself of your answers, and then download this week’s worksheet.
What role will you play in your business?
For everything else, decide what you will delegate, what you will automate, what you will outsource, and why.
