The best way to make your employees happy (5/5) 🙌
Has it been a long week? Did last week’s cliffhanger leave you in an agony of suspense?
Well, the wait is over.
Today let’s cover the second part of your employee meeting.
Annual Plan communication
You’ve got everyone together to roll out your annual plan. But the whole point is that they are part of your annual plan.
Your plan isn’t complete until your employees have had their say.
And in any company meeting, they should be talking at least as much as you are.
So once you have rolled out your goals, the expected return on investment, and the expected indications of success, it’s time to ask questions.
What has changed?
Find out how your team’s work, conditions, and resources have changed in recent months.
What should change?
Find out how your team’s work, conditions, and resources could change to make life better.
What will be harder?
Find out what they expect will be challenging about your new annual plan.
What will be easier?
Find out how the new annual plan could make their lives better too.
Annual Plan completion
Now take their feedback and update your annual plan accordingly.
Add comments, update ROIs, update performance indicators, invest in resources, change expectations, and do whatever that feedback tells you.
Now – and only now – your Annual Plan is ready for action.
