How I work – Professional Competencies

Professional competencies speak to how technical skills are applied. They will demonstrate an employee’s potential for promotion within the business.

Everybody claims to want the same competencies in a candidate, so I examine how these are exhibited in the workplace, against the company’s goals. With this I build a prioritized competency table, like a point system. After all: I’m a person who meal plans AND goes to the grocery store every day, it’s about efficiency and effectiveness.

This means my clients hire the right people for their business needs.

I can help the small agency owner who starts all her sentences with “I’m not the expert but…” She wants a team and clients that feel like family. Next time she cushions her knowledge with disclaimers, ask her if she can name her three most valuable employees.
